ME
I began my creative life as an art director, but soon moved on to CD, GCD and then ECD, leaving the markers behind (mostly) for more creative and strategic guidance roles.
I’ve spent most of that time in consumer advertising, working on and creative directing some of the biggest brands in the world, for the likes of P&G (too many individual brands to remember) Unilever (again), Cadillac, Coke, the Olympic Games, plus umpteen beer and spirit bands. I could go on.
I’ve done it on a smaller scale for UK brands like M&S Food, Irn-Bru and McVitie’s, also on a much smaller scale for locals like Martin & Frost.
I’ve worked in big networks, winning global pitches, start-ups winning UK pitches and, where it all started in ‘Old Reekie’, winning more regional bits of business in Scotland.
I’ve spent the last few years running and growing the global office (based in London) of New York healthcare agency 21Grams.
Over that time, I and my teams, have won awards at all the usual shows everyone shouts about. That trend continues with my London team at 21Grams gracing awards shows over 84 times in the last five years.
If you’d like to hear me bang on about it all, we can grab a cuppa.
